School Golf Society

Throughout the year, the Castle School of Dancing Golf Society arranges many golfing events for their members to enjoy.  The last trip organised on the 6th April 2011 was a visit to the challenging Elfordleigh Hotel Golf Club at Plympton.  The weather was kind although there was a chill in the early morning air.  However this didn't deter the enthusiasm of the golfers and after 18 holes on the demanding course the day ended with a wonderful dinner in the club house.  After dinner, trophies were awarded for the player who won the both the "longest drive" competition and for the shot that was "closest to the pin" as well as the more traditional prizes.

The Autumn Golf Day has now been booked at Dainton Park Golf Club at Ipplepen on Wednesday 28th September 2011. The cost will be £34 per person which is incredible value since it includes the following:

• A welcome drink of tea or coffee on arrival

• one round of golf

• two course dinner

• contribution toward the prizes

Tee-off will commence at 10:00am and Dinner will be at approximately 4:00pm.  Please will all golfers associated with the School, past and present, support this venue by booking this date in your diary and joining the Society for a great day out.

As is the custom, spouses, partners and/or friends are also welcome to join us for dinner following the game.

In order to help us with the planning for this event could you contact George Graves on 01803 525045 or Nick Binmore on 01803 553438 ASAP to indicate whether you are able to join us on the day.  A £5:00 deposit will be required before the 21st August.
