Dancing at the School
The Castle School of Dancing is a very active
school undertaking dancing activities on most days of the
week throughout the year. Lessons can be taken on an
individual basis or within groups, catering for beginners,
intermediate levels and advanced students of all ages.
The school prides itself in meeting particular
requirements for people wishing to learn and lessons can be
tailored to suit your own tastes be that
Standard Ballroom,
Latin American or
Sequence dances.
Throughout the year, social dances are held at the school
in Torquay every second Saturday giving pupils and staff a
chance to relax in an informal atmosphere and perhaps
practice their newly learnt steps. Please
contact the school for further details of these
events.
In addition to these regular dances, the school also
organises dancing activities outside of the school including
an annual dinner/dance at a local hotel to celebrate the
anniversary of when the school first opened. The
Annual dinner/dance this year was held on Saturday 10th
October 2009 at the
Palace Hotel in Torquay. These dances are always well attended by
students past and present so please book early to avoid
disappointment.
The photographs below give a flavour of the annual
dinner/dance:
